This issue looks at rot, disgust and filth and brings together Aphra Hill on language and abjection; Huw Lemmey on the figure of the dirty old man; Bryony Gillard on plumbing and the leaking body; Joanna Walsh on disgust; Jen Calleja on writing as cultivation and care; Ava Chapman on bureaucracy and chatbots; and Lucie Lučanská on brain rot. The issue also features new artwork by Olivia Sterling, whose images speak to a grotesque playfulness.
